A medical injection needle tube typically refers to the hollow, cylindrical part of a needle that allows fluid (e.g., medication, vaccines) or bodily fluids (e.g., blood) to pass through during medical procedures. The injection needle tube is generally made of medical grade stainless steel 304, 316L materials, which have excellent corrosion resistance and good durability. For different uses, there are various kinds of needle points of stainless steel injection needle tubes, such as lancet point, back cut point, huber point, quincke point, pencil point, back-eye point, and so on. Components of a Medical Injection Needle:

1. Cannula (Needle Tube):

2. Lancet Point Design:

• Geometry: Features a sharp, triple-bevel tip to reduce insertion pain and tissue trauma. The design ensures precision for capillary blood sampling (e.g., glucose testing) or shallow injections.
• Advantages: Minimizes skin resistance, enhances patient comfort, and improves accuracy compared to standard hypodermic needles.

Medical Grade Stainless Steel 304:

• Composition: Contains ~18% chromium and ~8% nickel, providing good corrosion resistance and formability. Unlike 316L (which includes molybdenum for enhanced corrosion resistance), SS 304 is cost-effective and suitable for short-term medical applications.
• Medical-Grade Specifications: Meets stringent biocompatibility standards with controlled impurities, surface finish, and passivation to improve corrosion resistance.
• Use Case: Ideal for single-use devices (e.g., lancets, short-duration needles) where prolonged exposure to bodily fluids is minimal. Not typically used for implants or long-term indwelling devices.
